[ Current Thoughts ]

I'm beginning to change my mind about my proposed question, Initial Proposal II. I simply don't think that in its current state, it is feasible to accomplish, so I'm changing my question whilst finding sources for research, so not all has come to a halt. The slant of the question will be directed more towards audience, so the emphasis is less on the industry perspective due to practicality issues really.

My second initial proposal is as such:

When preparing an initial proposal, please answer the following questions:
1. Which topic area is this proposal for? Advertising
2. What is the suggested focus? Viral Marketing
3. Do you have an idea for a question/problematic? Is viral marketing a viable sole option for product promotion?
4. Why would you choose this? Because it interests me, most of all. Viral marketing has boomed over the past couple of years, and it is still very current, due to the rise of the internet and better technology. Case studies are very numerous, also.
5. Do you have any concerns or are there any limitations to this proposal? The set question has to be altered, as I'm still not happy with it. I don't know where exactly I want to take the topic yet, but it is still an area that I am very interested in.
6. Can you rate it on a sliding scale 1- 5? 4

My first initial proposal is as such:

When preparing an initial proposal, please answer the following questions:
1. Which topic area is this proposal for? Crime and the Media
2. What is the suggested focus? Copycat Crime
3. Do you have an idea for a question/problematic? To what extent does it appear that Copycat Crime is propagated by the Media?
4. Why would you choose this? Because it's still inconclusive, and a current issue. One example being the most recent suicides in Wales. Although not illegal, Breach of the Peace and other related crimes are relevant. Negative effects research is a topic that we have recently covered, and one that I'm interested in.
5. Do you have any concerns or are there any limitations to this proposal? Might be difficult to find information regarding this, but statistics are vital. Still seems like a broad topic.
6. Can you rate it on a sliding scale 1- 5? 3.5
